What Is On Page Search Engine Optimisation?
Usually the majority of on page seo is done during the construction of your website. However, chances are that this was not properly addressed at the time due to time/financial constraints and has caused some problems. We will go through your site and fix these errors as well as assess your site for correct keyword saturation ensuring that the site is telling the search engines what we want them to hear.
What Is Off Page Search Engine Optimisation?
Off page seo is just as important as on page. We will create quality backlinks to your site and will also submit your site to directories and social networks for you. Off page seo is time consuming but it is really important to start driving traffic to your site and as a result attract the attention of the major search engines.
How Important Is A Page 1 Google Ranking?
First off we need to consider that statistically 92% of Google users don’t go past the 1st page of search results. With this in mind if you’re not on the first page of your keyword relevant Google search, your website is close to invisible to new customers.
How Important Is My Position On The First Page?
Lets imagine you have your site on the first page of Google for your keyword relevant search results. This is going to be a huge step in terms of your SEO strategy but unfortunately it doesn’t end there. The good news is that we have some great statistical data from Chitika to figure out where we should be positioned on the first page. I don’t think this will surprise anyone when I say we really need to be at position 1. The basic idea is that we want to receive the most clicks. Check out the stats:

It’s not really worth going any further than position 15, it starts to get quite grim after that.
And as mentioned before 92% of users don’t go beyond page 1 and the ones that do are possibly checking out their own rankings.
Basically in position 1 you are receiving double the clicks and double the business compared to position 2, and I don’t think I need to explain what happens from there down, it’s pretty self explanatory and a little disheartening. One of the major ways Google uses to rank your site is based on the amount of organic click throughs your site is receiving. This means that a site at position 1 also has the upper hand in terms of remaining at position 1. The lower the ranking the more you will need drive traffic in other ways to help your Google ranking.
